Welcome to Twos. By using our service, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
01Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Twos, including our website, mobile applications, and related services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use Twos.
02Service Description
Twos is a platform that enables users to participate in short, private, one-to-one video conversations with other users.
Twos is intended to facilitate meaningful human connection in a safe and respectful environment.
We may modify, suspend, discontinue, or update parts of the service at any time without liability.
Twos may offer experimental, beta, AI-enabled, or early-access features that may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time and may function differently from production features.
03Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Twos.
By using the service, you represent and warrant that:
- You are at least 18 years old
- You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
- You are not prohibited from using the service under applicable laws
- You are not required to register as a sex offender under applicable law
- You are not using Twos on behalf of another person or organization without authorization
- You have not previously been suspended or removed from Twos for violations of our Terms or safety policies unless expressly authorized by Twos
- You are not located in a country or territory subject to applicable U.S. sanctions or embargoes and are not prohibited from using the service under applicable export control or sanctions laws
- Your use of the service complies with these Terms
Twos may suspend or terminate accounts suspected of belonging to minors.
04Accounts and Access
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and devices.
You are responsible for all activity occurring under your account.
You may not:
- Share accounts with others
- Sell or transfer accounts
- Access accounts belonging to other users
- Use unauthorized automation, bots, scripts, or scraping tools
- Attempt to bypass platform restrictions or safety systems
We reserve the right to restrict, suspend, or terminate access to the service at any time.
05Conversations, Transcripts, and User Content
Twos is designed for private, real, human conversations. "Private" means conversations are not publicly broadcast or intentionally disclosed by Twos to other users during ordinary platform operation.
By using Twos, you understand and agree that:
- Standard calls are not recorded by Twos
- Twos may generate and retain text transcripts of conversations for limited periods of time
- Twos may process transcripts, metadata, derived data, and related signals to support safety systems, moderation, spam prevention, conversation summaries, research, analytics, AI model development and training, machine learning systems, and platform functionality
- Limited real-time media analysis may occur for safety and moderation purposes, including transient video frame analysis
- Audio and video from standard calls are not stored during normal platform use
You retain ownership of content you create or share through the service. However, you grant Twos a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to process, host, transmit, analyze, reproduce, transform, derive information from, and otherwise use such content as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, moderate, improve, personalize, research, and support the service and related technologies, including safety systems, analytics, machine learning systems, AI-enabled features, conversation summaries, and platform functionality.
Twos may generate and use derived data, embeddings, classifications, scores, metadata, or other inferences from conversations, media signals, user interactions, or platform activity for purposes including safety, moderation, analytics, personalization, research, recommendation systems, machine learning systems, and service improvement.
Research may include internal commercial research, academic collaborations, statistical analysis, safety research, product evaluation, and development of machine learning or AI systems. Where reasonably appropriate, Twos may use aggregated, pseudonymous, or de-identified information for such purposes.
You are solely responsible for the content and information you choose to share with other users.
06Future Recording Features
Twos does not currently record standard calls or moderation events.
If optional recording-based features are introduced in the future, Twos will provide appropriate notice, disclosures, and consent mechanisms before any recording occurs.
07Automated Systems and Moderation
Twos may use automated systems and human moderators to:
- Detect harmful or abusive behavior
- Enforce these Terms
- Review reports and safety incidents
- Detect spam, fraud, or platform manipulation
- Improve service reliability and moderation systems
- Conduct research, analytics, and product-quality measurement
Moderation decisions may result in:
- Warnings
- Feature restrictions
- Temporary suspensions
- Permanent account removal
- Reporting to law enforcement where required or appropriate
Twos reserves the right to investigate behavior occurring both on and off the platform where reasonably necessary to protect user safety or platform integrity.
08Prohibited Conduct
You may not use Twos to:
- Harass, threaten, bully, stalk, or abuse others
- Share illegal, exploitative, hateful, or sexually explicit content
- Share sexual content involving minors
- Engage in nudity or sexually explicit conduct
- Promote violence, exploitation, or illegal activity
- Impersonate another person or entity
- Mislead, defraud, or scam users
- Circumvent safety features or moderation systems
- Attempt to reverse engineer, interfere with, or disrupt the service
- Use bots, scraping tools, automation, or unauthorized APIs
- Attempt unauthorized access to systems or accounts
- Violate applicable laws or regulations
- Record, screenshot, reproduce, distribute, or publicly share another user's content or conversations without their consent
- Solicit money, financial information, payment credentials, cryptocurrency, investments, or gifts from other users
- Use the service for commercial solicitation, advertising, spam, scams, or fraudulent activity
- Submit false, abusive, retaliatory, or misleading reports
- Attempt to evade suspensions, bans, restrictions, or moderation systems
- Attempt to manipulate, probe, reverse engineer, or interfere with moderation, matching, ranking, or safety systems
- Share malicious software, phishing links, or harmful code
- Use the service in a manner that could endanger minors or exploit vulnerable individuals
Violations may result in immediate suspension or permanent removal.
09Privacy
Your use of Twos is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
By using the service, you acknowledge that:
- Information shared during conversations may be seen, heard, captured, or recorded by other users
- Twos cannot guarantee the conduct of other users
- You should avoid sharing highly sensitive, confidential, or personal information during conversations
- Twos may process transcripts, metadata, transient media signals, and derived data for purposes including safety, moderation, research, analytics, and machine learning systems, as described in the Privacy Policy
09AUser Safety and Interactions
Twos does not conduct criminal background checks or identity verification on all users and does not guarantee the identity, conduct, intentions, legality, legitimacy, or safety of any user.
You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users. You should exercise caution when communicating with strangers, sharing personal information, or interacting outside the platform.
Twos is not responsible for the conduct of users either on or off the service.
10Third-Party Services and Platforms
Twos may rely on third-party infrastructure, communications, analytics, authentication, moderation, or hosting providers.
Your use of Twos through third-party platforms such as the Apple App Store or Google Play may also be subject to those platforms' terms and policies.
Twos is not responsible for third-party services, products, or content.
11Intellectual Property
The Twos service, including its software, branding, trademarks, graphics, interfaces, text, designs, and related materials, is owned by Twos or its licensors and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Except as expressly permitted, you may not:
- Copy
- Modify
- Distribute
- Sell
- Reverse engineer
- Create derivative works from
any portion of the service.
11ACopyright Complaints
Twos respects intellectual property rights and expects users to do the same.
If you believe content on Twos infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights, please contact us at:

Your notice should include:
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed
- Identification of the allegedly infringing material
- Your contact information
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorized
- A statement made under penalty of perjury that the information provided is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the rights holder
Twos may remove allegedly infringing content and may terminate repeat infringers where appropriate.
12Feedback
If you provide Twos with suggestions, feedback, ideas, or recommendations, you grant Twos the right to use them without restriction or compensation.
13Disclaimer of Warranties
Twos is provided "as is" and "as available."
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Twos disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of:
- Merchantability
- Fitness for a particular purpose
- Non-infringement
- Availability
- Accuracy
- Security
We do not guarantee that:
- The service will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
- Matches or conversations will meet expectations
- Harmful users will never access the platform
- Safety systems will detect all violations
Automated systems and AI-enabled features may generate inaccurate, incomplete, biased, or imperfect outputs. Users should not rely on automated outputs as factual, professional, medical, legal, therapeutic, or psychological advice.
14Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Twos and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, licensors, and partners shall not be liable for:
- Indirect damages
- Incidental damages
- Consequential damages
- Special damages
- Punitive damages
- Loss of profits
- Loss of goodwill
- Loss of data
- Emotional distress
- Personal injury arising from user interactions
arising from or related to your use of the service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Twos' total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service shall not exceed the greater of:
- USD $100
- The amount you paid Twos in the previous twelve months
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so portions of this section may not apply to you.
15Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Twos and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and partners from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses arising from:
- Your use of the service
- Your content
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of applicable laws or third-party rights
16Termination
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to Twos at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including suspected violations of these Terms or risks to user safety.
You may stop using the service at any time.
Sections that reasonably should survive termination will remain in effect after termination.
17Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
If material changes are made, we may provide notice through the service or other appropriate communication methods.
Continued use of Twos after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
18Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, excluding conflict of law principles.
19Dispute Resolution and Arbitration
Before filing a claim, you agree to first contact us at hello@twos.net and attempt to resolve the dispute informally. The parties agree to make a good-faith effort to resolve any dispute for at least 60 days before initiating arbitration or litigation. The 60-day informal resolution period shall toll any applicable statute of limitations during that time.
Except for disputes eligible for small claims court, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of Twos shall be resolved through binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules.
You agree that:
- Arbitration will occur on an individual basis only
- Class actions and class arbitrations are not permitted
- You waive any right to participate in a class action or representative proceeding
- Arbitration may occur remotely or in the county where you reside
- The Federal Arbitration Act governs the interpretation and enforcement of this section
If the class-action waiver in this section is found unenforceable as to any claim or request for relief, then that claim or request for relief shall be severed and proceed in court on an individual basis only, and the remainder of this arbitration agreement shall remain enforceable.
You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by sending written notice by email to hello@twos.net or by postal mail to The Twos Company, Inc., 800 N State St, Suite 304, Dover, Delaware 19901, United States, within 30 days of first accepting these Terms.
Nothing in this section prevents either party from:
- Bringing an individual claim in small claims court
- Seeking injunctive or equitable relief for intellectual property misuse, unauthorized access, abuse, fraud, or security violations
This section survives termination of these Terms and your relationship with Twos.
19AVenue
Except where prohibited by applicable law, any claim that is not subject to arbitration or eligible for small claims court shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the State of Delaware, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
20Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
