Child Safety Standards

Twos is a platform for short, private, 1-to-1 video conversations between adults. We are committed to user safety and to protecting children from harm.

Twos does not support public content or broadcasting; all interactions occur in private, 1-to-1 conversations.

Twos has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Users are strictly prohibited from creating, uploading, sharing, or distributing content that exploits or endangers children, or from engaging in any behavior that sexually abuses, endangers, or exploits a minor.

Twos is strictly for users 18 and older. Minors are not permitted to use Twos under any circumstances.

CSAE (Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation) refers to any behavior or content that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers children. This includes grooming, sextortion, trafficking, sexual solicitation, and other forms of sexual exploitation of minors.

CSAM (Child Sexual Abuse Material) refers to any visual depiction, including photographs, videos, and computer-generated or AI-generated imagery, involving a minor engaged in sexually explicit conduct.

The following are strictly prohibited on Twos:

• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form, including AI-generated depictions
• Grooming, befriending or building trust with a child to facilitate sexual contact or exploitation, online or offline
• Sexual interaction with a minor, in any form
• Sexualization of minors, including imagery or language that depicts, encourages, or promotes the sexual exploitation of children
• Sextortion, threatening or blackmailing a child using real or alleged intimate images
• Trafficking or solicitation of a minor for sexual exploitation

This includes any attempt to create, upload, share, or distribute such content.

Any user who engages in these activities will have their account terminated immediately. Twos may report offenders to law enforcement and child protection organizations.

• Twos is available only to users 18 years of age or older
• Accounts suspected or confirmed to belong to a minor are removed from the platform
• Attempts by a minor to access Twos, or by an adult to facilitate such access, are treated as violations of our policies

Twos provides mechanisms for users to raise concerns without leaving the app:

• In-app reporting, any user can report another user or a conversation directly from the app
• Blocking, users can immediately block anyone they do not wish to interact with
• Direct contact, users can also contact our safety team at hello@twos.net

Reports are reviewed and acted on promptly.

Twos combines multiple layers of safety to identify harmful behavior:

• User reports
• Automated detection systems
• Real-time safety signals during live conversations
• Post-call review
• Manual moderation

Twos takes prompt and appropriate action when harmful or suspicious behavior is detected.

Twos removes CSAM upon obtaining knowledge of it. Our enforcement actions include:

• Immediate removal of the content
• Suspension or permanent ban of the account involved
• Escalation to appropriate law enforcement and child protection authorities

Twos takes appropriate action, including removal and reporting, when we become aware of CSAM on the platform.

These actions are taken in accordance with these standards and applicable laws.

Twos complies with applicable child safety laws and regulations. Confirmed CSAM is reported to the relevant authorities, which may include:

• The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) in the United States
• Cybertip.ca in Canada
• Equivalent regional authorities in other jurisdictions

We cooperate with lawful requests from law enforcement and child safety organizations.

Twos may not be used to endanger children in any way. Predatory, exploitative, or abusive behavior toward minors is forbidden and will result in immediate removal from the platform, regardless of intent or outcome.
